The Business Centre – Web Genius client since 2004:
200% increase in enrolments from day one When the Business Centre adopted Web Genius for its e-marketing in 2004, it saw an immediate jump in enrolments for its small business courses of up to 200%.
And via its new dynamic website, over 200 new members added themselves to the centre’s database over the next few months.
The Business Centre’s managing director James Fensom says that the increase in marketing effectiveness allowed valuable resources to be re-allocated in other areas.
“We have effectively shaved off the need for 20% of our staff, but because it really hasn’t cost us anything, we were able to change around some of the staff duties to start adding more value to the clients,” says James.
”Our initial use of only the database and email provided instant benefit through the ability to create and easily maintain newsletter updates,” he says. “This previously was always a problem as we could not control how people received the newsletter and we ended up sending pure text based emails that were ugly and clumsy.”
James continues: “We held off on adding the web site content management software, and now we kick ourselves for not using it earlier. It is so easy to maintain the web site that for the first time since our commencement, I can honestly say that our website is up to date! Not only is the website up to date, it also markets our business. It automatically adds new businesses to our database and start sending them our marketing material and newsletters.”
