Project Managers

Web Genius Project Managers work with clients to implement their websites and web marketing solutions.

The project management team members have a range of backgrounds from design to writing, and are well versed in the Web Genius formulas.

Bex O'Sullivan -

Project Manager

Bex joined Web Genius in 2007 after graduating from Massey University in the same year with a Bachelor of Design majoring in Visual Communication Design and specialising in Advertising.  Bex is also completing, part time, a Bachelor of Business majoring in marketing.

"I always had the intention of doing something relating to design or painting.  However my design degree has ended up giving me a much wider range of skills and knowledge beyond just design and painting," Bex says.

"Skills that have proven transferable to my project management role at Web Genius - from helping our customers understand who their perfect prospects are and the information they require, through to information design, graphic design and more."

With a particular interest in social media and the importance social networking has on a site's online presence Bex says Web Genius focuses on finding new customers and keeping them.

"Social media and technology is driving and facilitating a change in the way customers talk, communicate and spend - so businesses need to be prepared to adapt the way they find and keep their customers. Social media uptake is more dominant in the US and UK, or for bigger global brands and is relatively new in New Zealand.

"I'm interested in understanding and exploring how social platforms can be used to support and facilitate customer relationships and marketing for Web Genius clients and small businesses in New Zealand in general."

In her spare time Bex plays netball for Wellington Northern United (her local team) as well as indoor football. She is also an avid Wellington Phoenix fan.

"Playing music with people, working with them, playing with their energy is what I love. Then there's playing to people and having them listen, it's something that brings people together and for some reason is powerful to a lot of people.

"Other than that it’s just really enjoyable to play."
