The production and customer service team members work on the set-up of client's website and web marketing projects as well as supporting their web marketing activities.

Maria Quin co-ordinates the team and is the first point of contact for clients. Joe Simmonds works actively with existing clients to ensure they are getting the most out their web marketing efforts.

Maria Quin -

Production Co-ordinator

Maria is the woman who keeps the Web Genius lads in line - they would seriously be lost without her!

As 'Production Manager' Maria's duties include scheduling and following up all production work, monitoring phone and support enquiries as well as supporting the team in production.

With a great heart and sense of humour Maria enjoys her daily contact with clients and "keeping the production team in check".

A Kapiti Coast local Maria spends most of her spare time involved with her family's sporting commitments.

Josh Church -

Implementation Co-ordinator

Another Kapiti Coast local, Josh joined Web Genius in 2009 - his natural talent for all things technical makes him an integral part of the team.

As 'Implementation Coordinator' Josh oversees the development and implementation of the Web Genius sites.

Josh says he enjoys the mix of technical and creative elements of his job with the diversity of the role keeping him on his toes.

Outside of work Josh plays the bass guitar and is another member of the band 'The No Problemos'.

Jamie Jamieson -

Website Implementor

Jamie joined Web Genius in 2011. As an ‘Implementor’ his position involves a number of different aspects of site implementation focused around SEO work - helping with site optimisation.

"I enjoy learning about SEO and its many different aspects. Plus I'm also very interested in the technical side of web marketing such as information design," he says.

Jamie says working at Web Genius has opened up a whole new world, one he never really knew existed.

"I really enjoy working at Web Genius, the work is so varied and interesting I am constantly learning and expanding my web knowledge. I find SEO very interesting and I think I will pursue it in my future."

Another musician in the team - Jamie enjoys playing the guitar.

Isaac Simmonds-

Production Assistant

A Kapiti Coast local Isaac joined the Web Genus team at the start of 2012.

As part of the Production team Isaac’s role includes setting up Google marketing accounts, places listings and Adwords, GALP landing pages, article writing, reports, client contacts as well as some work along side the regional sales coaches.

Isaac says he enjoys his job because “we all work as a team to produce some awesome websites that really help out businesses around NZ and increase their customer flow”.

“Everyone has their own great skills they use and contribute and it all comes together really well - there is always such a friendly, positive vibe around the place.”

A keen musician, skateboarder and fisherman – in his spare time, alongside other members of the team, Isaac like to chase the Kingfish around Kapiti Island.

Joe Simmonds -

Adwords Specialist

Joe has been with Web Genius since 2008 - having evolved and grown with the company Joe's role now includes helping existing clients get the most from the sites.

"It's really great to be able to find areas that can be improved and help people get the most out of their site," Joe says.

"I think the thing that I've benefited from the most would be spending so much time with so many business owners - so many interesting ideas and very driven people!"

With a great sense of community Joe is also the resident 'green thumb', initiating and managing the Web Genius Organic Garden program since spring 2011.

"The idea is get everyone within the office learning about growing food, as well as being able to give some away to clients when they come to visit."

Outside of work Joe is a keen musician - mainly playing electric and bass guitar while working on his tuition diploma; and gardener.

"I've been involved in community gardens around the place and I'm always looking to set up gardens for people who don't have them. Just let me know if you want music lessons or a garden built!"
